‘Til Death Do Us Part

When a couple stands at the front of a church in the presence of God and in the front of all of their friends and swear, “‘Til death do us part,” God takes them at their word. They may attempt to annul their promise through divorce. But, I have seen it often that divorced couples still must deal with each other, especially when children are involved. They cannot escape the reality of their former vows until the death of one of them.  “What God has joined together let no man separate” (Matthew 19:6).
