The Gospel of Mark

A couple years ago, I was able to attend an event in Chicago at the Mercury Theater in which Max McLean “performed” the Gospel of Mark.  He has committed the entire book to memory and quoted it on stage with light acting to help make the meaning clear.  It was amazing.  It was also very helpful to grasp the entire account of the life of Jesus in one sitting.  You can watch the entire thing for free on YouTube.  Here is a link to all of the videos (one per chapter) all cued up for watching.  If you are interested, here is another link to an interview done with Max McLean about the production.

I mention this because I began (last week) preaching through the gospel of Mark.  I plan on watching these videos many times over the next few months to help keep the big picture of Mark in my head.
