Grasping My Garment

In Zechariah 8 we read of God’s future revival in Jerusalem. It will be a place so blessed of the Lord that many people from many nations will go there to entreat the favor of the Lord. Consider the following verse, “Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you”‘” (Zechariah 8:23).

The picture is fairly simple. God will bless the Jew with such an unmistakable blessing, that ten men from other nations will follow him to his God. They will even grasp his garment in their endeavors to follow the man.

I know that I want to be such a man. I want to have God’s work in me to be so evident that others would follow me into God’s presence. I want others to grasp my garment.
