We are hosting a Vacation Bible School at our church this week. One of the highlights of the morning is the drama of a small town out west, where the gospel takes root and spreads. Theodore Tweedle and Petunia Periwinkle are played by two of our very talented young people. On Tuesday afternoon, one of the moms observed her children playing “dress-up.” They were dressed up as Theodore and Petunia (seen above).
Never doubt the influence that you are on people. You can be an influence for the good or for the bad. Paul told Timothy to “show yourself and example of those who believe” (1 Timothy 4:12). Jesus said, “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14). May we all consider the example that we are setting, knowing the influence that we have upon others.
